The Client

Divvy is a platform for expense and spend management that was recently acquired by BILL (formerly Bill.com) to extend its AR / AP platform capabilities.

The Problem

While the BILL platform has established itself as a leading AR / AP software provider to Accounting Firms, Divvy was unknown and the proactive approach to expense management that it enabled was unfamiliar to Accounting and Bookkeeping practitioners. The Divvy team needed a strong marketing partner to win Accountants and their SMB clients.

The Solution

I partnered with CPA.com (the digital arm of the AICPA) to launch a marketing program grounded in thought leadership and education for Accountants. We produced a monthly series of webinars that were syndicated by media partners, developed original blog posts, guides and whitepapers that were published on the CPA.com site and syndicated to leading accounting publications including Accounting Today and the Journal of Accountancy.

The Impact

Each of the webinars in the series attracted hundreds of accounting firm owners and staff members. At each session over 40 firm decision makers requested demos of the Divvy platform.
